The Training and Documentation area is a division of User Support within Computer Services at Missouri State University. We provide students, faculty, and staff members with friendly and helpful resources to aid you in using computer technology at Missouri State University. Getting Help

  • Help Desk  

    The centralized source for help regarding University computing resources. They handle issues such as password resets, email issues & setup and software troubleshooting.

  • Web Help Desk

    Provides support for University web development efforts. They can assist in creating new web sites or adding / removing web developers for official sites.

  • Cheek 100 Open Lab Hours

    Drop by Cheek 100 for one-on-one support on a variety of topics including Microsoft Office® products and web developing issues.

  • ResNET

    The Residence Hall helpdesk for computing resources.

  • Documentation Topic List

    Training and Documentation provides a series of in depth training documents on a variety of software commonly used across the University.

  • Short "How to" Topics

    This page provides links to quick overviews of common topics such as Microsoft® Outlook Calendar, Distribution Lists, Excel functions, and much more.

Training Opportunities

  • Short Course Calendar

    A short course consists of an hour to two hour long training class on various computer related topics. Short courses are provided free of charge to all faculty, staff, graduate assistants, and student workers.

  • Computer Skills Courses

    The Office of Web and New Media, Computer Services and the Center for Continuing and Professional Education (CCPE) offer computer related skills courses.
