The Training and Documentation area is a division of User Support within Computer Services at Missouri State University.

Facilities

Cheek 135

The Computer Services Training and Documentation team facilities are located in Cheek 135. Cheek 135 currently houses two student workers and one full time staff member. For more information about us, visit the Staff page.

Cheek 100

The Computer Services Training Facility is used to provide various computer related training to groups across the University. This lab is available for Computer Services Short Courses, University computer resource training efforts, and Open Lab hours to support staff, faculty, and student workers.

The classroom setting in Cheek 100 has the following available:

  • 77" SMART Board™ system
  • Mobile air tablet interfaced with SMART Board™
  • 20 workstation PCs
  • 2 Intel based Apple copuers
  • Robust instructor PC
  • Compact handheld slide advancing remote & laser pointer
  • High resolution ceiling mounted projector & projector screen
  • Many productivity software packages pre-installed on all PCs
  • Phoenix and other Missouri State specific software pre-installed
  • High speed printing
  • Transparency projector
  • Large mounted whiteboards

Planned upgrades that are in the process of being installed:

  • Student response systems
