The Training and Documentation area is a division of User Support within Computer Services at Missouri State University.

Meyer Library 202

The Computer Services Training and Documentation team facilities are located in Meyer Library 202, which currently houses 1 student worker and one full time staff member. For more information about us, visit the Staff page.

Cheek 100

The Computer Services Training Facility in Cheek 100 is used to provide various computer related training to groups across the University. This lab is available for Computer Services Short Courses, University computer resource training efforts, and Open Lab hours to support staff, faculty, and student workers.

The classroom setting in Cheek 100 has the following available:

  • 77" SMART Board™ system
  • Mobile air tablet interfaced with SMART Board™
  • 22 workstation PCs running Windows 7
  • Robust instructor PC running Windows 7
  • Compact handheld slide advancing remote & laser pointer
  • High resolution ceiling mounted projector & projector screen
  • Many productivity software packages pre-installed on all PCs
  • High speed printing
  • Large mounted whiteboards

Meyer Library 205

The Computer Services Training Facility in Library 205 is used to provide various computer related training to groups across the University. This lab is available for Blackboard training, Computer Services Short Courses, University computer resource training efforts, and Open Lab hours to support staff, faculty, and student workers.

The classroom setting in Library 205 has the following available:

  • 12 Intel based Apple computers running dual-boot Mac OS/X and Windows XP
  • 1 Intel based Apple Instructor machine running dual-boot Mac OS/X and Windows XP
  • High resolution ceiling mounted projector & projector screen
  • Many productivity software packages pre-installed on all computers
  • Large mounted whiteboards

Madison 005

The Computer Services Training Facility in Madison 005 is used to provide various computer related training to groups across the University. This lab is available for Computer Services Short Courses, University computer resource training efforts, and Open Lab hours to support staff, faculty, and student workers.

The classroom setting in Madison 005 has the following available:

  • 10 workstation PCs running Windows 7
  • Robust instructor PC running Windows 7
  • Portable projector & projector screen
  • Many productivity software packages pre-installed on all PCs
  • High speed printing

Madison 006

The Computer Services Training Facility in Madison 006 is used to provide various computer related training to groups across the University. This lab is available for Computer Services Short Courses, University computer resource training efforts, and Open Lab hours to support staff, faculty, and student workers.

The classroom setting in Madison 006 has the following available:

  • 4 workstation PCs running Windows 7
  • Portable projector & projector screen
  • Many productivity software packages pre-installed on all PCs
