Training and Documentation

The Training and Documentation area is a division of User Support within Computer Services at Missouri State University. We provide students, faculty, and staff members with friendly and helpful resources to assist in using computer technology at Missouri State University. Getting Help

  • Experts Documentation Library

    Looking for documentation on a specific topic? The Experts Documentation Library provides an up-to-date, searchable library of documentation, how-to videos, and help topics.

  • Computer Services Help Desk  

    The centralized source for help regarding Missouri State University computing resources. They handle issues such as password resets, email issues & setup and software troubleshooting.

  • Web Help Desk

    Provides support for Missouri State University web development efforts. They can assist in creating new web sites or adding / removing web developers for official sites.

  • ResNET

    The Residence Hall helpdesk for computing resources.

Training Opportunities

Registration for all training courses is available through the My Learning Connection system. To log in, go to http://my.missouristate.edu, click the Profile tab, and find the Professional Development channel. Click the My Learning Connection link; this will open My Learning Connection in a new window where you can search for and register for classes (PDF file).

  • Blackboard Course Management System Training

    Faculty members are encouraged to take training courses prior to teaching courses or as refreshers. Click here to learn more about Blackboard training.

  • Banner Training

    View training and open help session schedules and register for training by visiting the Master Training Schedule.

  • Using the Experts Documentation Wiki

    This training is offered on a monthly basis to all users who will contribute content to the Experts Documentation Wiki.

  • Using Camtasia 7 to Create Training Videos

    This training is offered on a monthly basis to all users who wish to use Camtasia to create screen capture videos.
