In order to provide the highest level of service to the campus community, the computing and networking systems maintained by Computer Services require occasional downtime. To minimize the need for outages while classes are in session, Computer Services is planning scheduled downtime days during which systems and networking services will not be guaranteed to be available.

Although certain services will be available during all or parts of the scheduled downtimes, departments are encouraged to plan accordingly and not to be dependant on the services during the times listed below.

Scheduled Downtime Dates

Scheduled downtime will occur from 6 am to midnight on the Saturday following the day grades are due after each semester. The dates currently scheduled are as follows:

January 7, 2012

June 9, 2012

August 11, 2012
