Background

The University provides disk storage space for each faculty and staff member on the Bear1 server. Common storage space for University departments is also provided on this server. Departmental and organizational websites are housed on the Tholian server, and personal websites for faculty and staff reside on the Tholian server as well. Each student is eligible for storage space and web development space on the Magenta server.

The University, in an effort to equitably allocate limited disk resources on file and web servers, has implemented a disk quota system on the Bear1, Tholian, and Magenta servers.
